Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, configure, and enhance solutions on the ServiceNow platform, with a focus on ITOM.
Build and maintain Flows, Subflows, Flow Designer actions, and automation workflows.
Develop and troubleshoot ServiceNow solutions using JavaScript, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and related platform capabilities.
Work with ServiceNow ITOM and CMDB, including CI relationships, discovery-related data, and infrastructure/service information.
Develop and support integrations and automation between ServiceNow and enterprise/infrastructure systems.
Troubleshoot platform, workflow, integration, and automation issues and perform root-cause analysis.
Follow ServiceNow development best practices to build solutions that are maintainable, reusable, and scalable.
Collaborate with platform, infrastructure, operations, and automation teams to translate operational requirements into ServiceNow solutions.
Support testing, deployment, production issues, and ongoing enhancements.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and configuration.
Very strong JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting fundamentals.
Strong hands-on knowledge of Flow Designer, Flows, Subflows, and automation.
Good understanding of ServiceNow ITOM fundamentals.
Good understanding of CMDB concepts, CI relationships, and data models.
Experience with ServiceNow REST/SOAP APIs and integrations.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to understand requirements and independently develop technical solutions.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
Domain Separation experience is highly preferred.
Experience with ServiceNow Event Management.
Understanding of events, alerts, alert processing/correlation, and operational monitoring concepts.
Exposure to ServiceNow Discovery and infrastructure discovery concepts.
Exposure to ITOM-related integrations with monitoring or infrastructure tools.
ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, or ITOM-related certifications would be advantageous.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is technically strong and hands-on, not just someone familiar with ServiceNow configuration. The candidate should be comfortable writing scripts, building automation, troubleshooting complex issues, and working across ITOM and CMDB capabilities.
