About Us
JMSC POS is a point-of-sale and inventory management platform serving 800–1,000 convenience stores, liquor stores, grocery stores, tobacco shops, and gas stations across the United States. Our infrastructure runs entirely on AWS and is managed as code with Terraform. We're looking for a junior DevOps engineer to help maintain and grow that infrastructure alongside our CTO.
What You'll Do
- Help manage our infrastructure as code using Terraform across a multi-account AWS Organization (Dev, QA, UAT, Prod, Sandbox, and DevOps environments)
- Support and maintain containerized services running on ECS Fargate, including deployments, scaling, and troubleshooting
- Assist with RDS (MySQL) administration — parameter groups, backups, monitoring, and secret rotation via Secrets Manager
- Help manage VPC networking: subnets, security groups, NAT gateways, load balancers, and routing
- Monitor infrastructure health with CloudWatch (alarms, logs, dashboards)
- Assist with CI/CD pipelines, ECR image management, and deployment workflows
- Write, review, and refactor Terraform modules; help keep our IaC clean and consistent
- Document infrastructure and processes
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience with AWS (internships and personal projects count)
- Working knowledge of Terraform — able to read, modify, and write modules
- Familiarity with core AWS services: RDS, ECS, VPC, and networking fundamentals (subnets, security groups, load balancers)
- Comfortable on the command line and with Git
- Understanding of containers (Docker) and basic CI/CD concepts
- Willingness to learn and take direction, with strong attention to detail
Nice to Have
- Experience with multi-account AWS Organizations
- Exposure to Fargate, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch, or ECR
- Basic scripting (Python or Bash)
- AWS certification (Cloud Practitioner or Solutions Architect Associate)

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
