The team is seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with extensive experience in public safety applications. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects within the public sector, collaborating with a talented development team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Java applications with a focus on public safety.
- Support and enhance large enterprise applications in a collaborative team environment.
- Utilize SQL databases for application development and data management.
- Work with Linux environments to ensure application performance and reliability.
- Participate in Agile development methodologies to deliver projects efficiently.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 15+ years of Java development experience.
- 10+ years of SQL database experience.
- 8+ years supporting and enhancing large enterprise applications.
- 5+ years of experience with Linux.
- Proven experience in public safety applications is required.
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with the Atlassian Suite (JIRA).
- Experience with state of Texas applications.
- Knowledge of legacy mainframe modernization to Java/SQL environments.
