DevOps and Cloud Engineer (Azure)

About the role

The team is hiring a senior DevOps and Cloud Engineer (Azure) to design, automate, and operate enterprise-scale Azure infrastructure. This is a hands-on senior role for an engineer who lives in Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD.

Locations: Hyderabad, Indore, or Bangalore (onsite)

Experience: 8+ years overall, with 3+ years hands-on Azure and 2+ years Infrastructure-as-Code

Schedule: Full-time. Involves a night shift aligned to US hours (starts ~6:30 PM IST)

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and maintain Azure infrastructure using Terraform, Azure Bicep, and/or ARM templates

• Build reusable IaC modules and deployment patterns across Dev, Test, UAT, Staging, and Production

• Design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Pipelines and GitHub Actions

• Design secure, scalable, highly available Azure architectures with monitoring, logging, backup, and disaster recovery

• Apply Azure security best practices (Zero Trust, managed identities, RBAC, Key Vault, Azure Policy, landing zones) and embed DevSecOps into pipelines

• Optimize cloud cost, reliability, and operational efficiency; troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, identity, and performance issues

Must have

• 8+ years in DevOps / cloud / infrastructure engineering; 3+ years hands-on Azure; 2+ years IaC at enterprise scale

• Strong Terraform, Azure Bicep and/or ARM templates

• Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions; YAML pipelines, Git workflows, release management

• Scripting with PowerShell, Azure CLI, Bash, and/or Python

• Docker and Azure Container Apps; Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics

Nice to have

• Enterprise governance, multi-subscription Azure, DevSecOps, policy-as-code, FinOps / cost optimization

• Experience in regulated or compliance-focused industries

Education: Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
