**Role Description:**The AWS Data Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure that enable efficient data collection, storage, and analysis. They ensure that data is reliable, accessible, and optimized for use by analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders.
**Required Experience and Skills**:
- 7-8+ yrs years of experience in application design, development and analysis
- Experience in AWS Cloud Solutions.
- Strong programming skills (Python, Java, or Scala)
- Proficiency in SQL and working with relational/non-relational databases
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Knowledge of ETL tools and workflow orchestration (e.g., Airflow)
- Understanding of data modeling and warehousing concepts
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
**Required Experience and Skills**:
- Experience with real-time data processing (Kafka, Flink, etc.)
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Exposure to data governance and security best practices
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines (ETL/ELT processes)
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Build and manage data architectures such as data lakes and data warehouses
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across systems
- Optimize data workflows for performance and scalability
- Integrate data from multiple sources (APIs, databases, third-party systems)
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to support analytics and ML use cases
- Monitor and troubleshoot data systems and pipelines
- Implement data governance and compliance standards
